See Entire Christian Dior Spring 2014 Couture Collection
Jennifer Lawrence‘s fashion house of choice, Christian Dior, just showed their Spring 2014 Couture collection in Paris. The pieces echoed the spirit of the brand’s muse: light, young, fun and brilliant. The entire collection celebrated lightness and ease.
The pieces looked as if they were floating down the runway. Cutout lattices, delicately placed layers, voluminous silhouettes and airy fabrics showed a more feminine, romantic side of couture. The colors looked like they were plucked from a painting. Inky navy and black broke up the line of clean whites and pretty mints and blushes.
The lightness of the clothes, however, didn’t obscure the amazing detail and work that went into each piece. The cutouts and layering took center stage. The collection looked as if it were made for the young fashoinista who wants to be able to live her life in her clothes, not be restricted by them. Sounds like a famous actress we all know and love!
