Band To Buzz About Winter ’14: Bonfire Beach
Dexy Valentine is on fire. Not only is she the voice behind the magic in Magic Wands, now she gets to add another fantastic musical endeavor to her resume: Bonfire Beach.
My first initial reaction while listening to Bonfire Beach’s nostalgic debut, Lit, was that Shirley Manson needs to hear this! I was brought back to the first time I listened to Manson’s pre-Garbage band, Angelfish, with a hint of The Raveonettes. Needless to say, I am deeply taken with this album and it sure has ‘lit’ a fire within my heart. Pun intended.
