Tears For Fears To Release New Material In 2014

For the past year, 80’s sensation Tears For Fears kept fans eagerly awaiting the announcement of new material. I’m proud to announce that that time has come! 80’s nerds, rejoice!

Toying with our hearts with the release of three cover songs, Arcade Fire’s “Ready To Start,” Hot Chip’s “And I Was A Boy From School,” and newly released Animal Collective’s “My Girls,” along with a revamped website and Facebook presence, hints were dropped about new material but no official statements were made until now.

The duo who won our hearts with hits like “Pale Shelter,” “Head Over Heels,” and “Everybody Wants To Rule The World” are finally making a comeback and I cannot contain my excitement!

Of course with the release of new music, touring is usually involved. The idea that I might be seeing Tears For Fears live has me on my toes. I’m not sure what to expect, but I know it’ll be nothing short of epic.

Stay tuned right here on all things Tears For Fears as more info is announced in the coming year! Until then, check out their synthtastic cover of Animal Collective’s “My Girls” and their 1983 hit, “Pale Shelter.”
