Today, let’s talk about our favorite Christmas songs. Yay yuletide! Here is my first choice:

WHAM!’s Last Christmas

I love me some WHAM! – They were one of the first bands I ever recall liking. They used to be on heavy rotation during MTV’s early days (you know, when they actually played music videos). There’s something about this song that makes my heart weep yet still have a tinge of hope. It’s weird, like me.

Then there’s this:

MxPx’s “Christmas Day”

This song is AMYAHZING. I first heard this song when I was a young man in the desert. I remember playing it on Christmas in El Paso and it actually snowed and then I think I tried to make snow angels but I ended up turning all muddy 🙁 This song is packed full of energy and it makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. Bless MxPx.
