Perfect + Easy Holiday Outfit Ideas!

Wondering what the heck to wear this holiday? Not wanting to go with the usual black-dress, or tacky-Christmas-sweater? I’ve got some ideas to help you find the perfect outfit, using colors/patterns/things that you probably already have in your closet!

The easiest way to make an outfit is to have a *base starter* meaning, the what you want to plan your outfit around. Usually, for me, it’s the pants/jeans/skirt. From there on, it makes it easier to pick things to go WITH the “starter.” You can pick a crazy-fun top or shoes to be the main attraction too. It’s up to you!

1. The Simple-Super-Fun-Christmas Party Outfit

Christmas is around the corner, and the easiest way to dress would be a tacky-Christmas sweater, but everyone else is doing that. Plus you’ve worn that Christmas sweater for 3 years in a row now. Why not piece together a pair of Blank NYC’S Vegan Leather Spray-On Skinnys (they’re SO cute on), paired with a Jawbreaking Clothing Top, some Winter-y inspired plaid BooHoo wedges, and OF COURSE, a Minnie Mouse (or your favorite character) Santa hat! Add some jewelry and voila!

2. The Appropriate I’m-Wearing-Red Holiday Outift

Just because it’s a Holiday party doesn’t mean you have to deck YOURSELF in holly and lights, and other cheesy-typical Christmas gear. As long as you’re wearing lots of red, you’re good. Why not grab one of your favorite red-colored Wildfox Couture tops, set up with the ever-so-sleek vegan leather Blank NYC skirt, some amazingly cute and comfy Minnetonka Moccasin Wedges, (My FAVORITE wedges that I own!) and a fun Samii Ryan Headpiece!

3. The Slathered-in-Sequins-And-Glitter Outfit

You want to dress up, but you want to be comfortable. Maybe this outfit is for New Years because you’re sick of freezing in skimpy dresses every year?! I feel you. Grab a pair of the “Kill Your Idol” Blank NYC jeans lined in gold studs, and pair it with a simple (yet stunning) sequined top (this one is by the amazing Backstage). Pair it with some Tom’s glittery shoes if you’re looking for fun and loud, but still comfy. Finish the outfit with a matching gold necklace (this one is by Betsey Johnson) and bam. You’re ready for your midnight kiss. Who’s it gonna be?

These are just 3 super easy outfit pairing ideas. Hit your closet to see what your *base starter* can be, and build around it using some of the brands above! You’ll be sure to stand out at the party/event/celebration/gift-opening/Christmas-dinner-eating/get together!
