Miley On SNL
Hellooooo from NYC everybody!!! I am loving spending time here. Part of me really wants to live here for a little while, just for a change! Who knows….. maybe I’ll end up here for a bit! The hustle is inspiring, and it’s nice to be in a place with so many opportunities to meet NEW people. I feel like I don’t get to do that very often. At home, Nashville is VERY small and everybody knows everybody, and in LA I run in the same circles it seems. But in NYC I’m constantly meeting zillions of new people every day! It’s nice.
Let me just say that SNL is one of the best experiences of life. Even as a spectator it’s so amazing, I can’t even imagine what it’s like to actually be part of the cast or getting to perform. This is the second time I have been here, and the second time I’ve gotten to see Miley host. She is so perfect for SNL. Comedy has always been her A game and she thrives on pressure, so having to nail everything on a live show always makes her perform at her best. I love getitng to watch her do this because she really loves doing it so much! The cast on this show is SO nice it’s unreal, and they always love having Miley on set. I hope you guys got to see it, and if not you should definitely go back and watch! There were some really funny skits. I specifically loved the ’50 Shades of Grey’ and ‘Poems’ skits, but they whole show was awesome. Miley sang Wrecking Ball and We Can’t Stop, and she always sounds amazing live, but holy cow did she just KILLLLLLLLLLLL this performance. I thought it was one of her bests ever. Everyone in the crowd was speechless when she was done. Things never sound the same on TV as they do in the room, so the SNL crowd got a special treat to get to see it live and hear how freaking amazing she sounded. I’m so glad I got to come and see it again and be here to support her. She really is one of the most talented people on the planet.
