Exclusive Interview With The Young And Talented Carson Lueders!
I am so excited to share this interview with you all. This interview is with a young and adorable singer and songwriter named Carson Lueders! You may recognize him from his multiple covers that have gone viral on Youtube or from when he performed with Keith Urban on ‘The View’!
He is most known for his covers but here is a video of an original from him:
When did you first realize you had a passion for singing?
I started singing around the same time I started playing guitar, I began lessons at age 5. I found it more fun to sing along when I played guitar. I was one of the only people to sing and play at the recitals. Now I pretty much sing around the house all day long.
What has been the most challenging part of your career so far?
It’s been hard trying to balance school and music. I was home schooled last year so that we could travel back and forth to Los Angeles to record music. I’m trying a private school this year that works with kids in the entertainment industry. I also miss my family a lot when I’m gone from home.
Tell us about what you do when you aren’t making music?
I love sports so I’m usually playing basketball, football or riding bikes or scooters. I also have raced motocross as long as I’ve played guitar. It’s a fun thing we do with my family.
What is the best advice you can give someone who is trying to follow in your footsteps?
My advice is to not be afraid of what others think. Just post those videos on YouTube. Perform at your church or talent shows. Keep trying, even if you have one bad experience.
If you could put together your dream tour, who would be the lineup?
I would love to open for Justin Timberlake and JayZ! Touring with Taylor Swift or Justin Bieber or One Direction would be fun too.
What are your guilty pleasures and do you have any hidden talents?
Guilty pleasures…..candy and pancakes! I really like playing drums too. I’m pretty good at Kendamas, which is a Japanese game.
What music are you listening to right now?
Holy Grail and Applause are some of my favorite songs right now.
Do you have any fan moments that stand out to you the most?
I’ve had a few fans drive quite a ways to come see me perform live. That’s cool.
I remember signing someone’s belt and wallet but nothing too strange yet.
What is your favorite city or country to perform in?
Of course I love to perform in my home town Spokane, WA. I like doing concerts in LA too. I have a LOTS of fans from all over the world so it would be really fun to tour to all of those countries someday!!!
Any last words for your fans and readers?
I LOVE MY FANS!!!! THEY ARE SUPER LOYAL AND SUPPORTIVE AND I CAN’T WAIT TO GET MY ORIGINAL MUSIC OUT AND START TOURING AND MEET THEM.
