Carson Daly Joins ‘The Today Show’ Family

Our favorite host with the most, Carson Daly, has joined The Today Show family! Carson will be the host of the new Orange Room digital space, where fans of NBC’s Today will interact with the show’s hosts through social media outlets. The Orange Room is set to officially launch on September 16.

Of the new job listed on Daly’s resume, he responded: “Everything I’ve done in my career up until this point has trained me for TODAY – the interviews, the live TV, the live radio – it all gets paid off,” Carson said. “I was playing in the minor leagues and now I’ve just been called up to the big leagues. It’s amazing that I get to be a small part of the new era and generation of TODAY– not just to be here, but to be here to help build the future of TODAY and serve as the bridge between viewers and the show.”

This was such a lovely announcement to wake up to on my birthday! I am so proud of Carson. To see him go from TRL, to having his own late night talk show Last Call with Carson Daly, to hosting The Voice, and now this! His journey is inspiring and I only wish I can be as successful as him someday. Congrats, Carson!
