5 Beauty Must-Haves

In my opinion, the worst thing a girl can do is cake on the makeup. I’d be willing to bet that guys would rather see a few imperfections on your face than 10 layers of thick foundation and bronzer that makes you look like a pumpkin. That being said, a reasonable amount of makeup gives us confidence, which is the most beautiful thing you can wear.

So I’m spilling my secrets. These are my absolute MUST have beauty items.

1. Sothys Purifying Foaming Gel

This daily cleanser is gentle and does the job. My face always feels fresh and smooth after I wash it. My best advice for finding a great cleanser and lotion would be to get a facial by a certified aesthetician with experience and if your face reacts well to their products, buy them! Sothys is a little pricey, but it lasts FOREVER. I can use the same bottle for at least 6-8 months. So worth it.

2. Sothys Hydra Matt Fluid

Ugh. This lotion is my life. I put it on once or twice a day and ever since I started using it, I swear my skin is 75% better in every way. I can’t live without it. A little bit goes a long way with this lotion, so you can get a lot of use out of a little bottle.

3. Tarte Maracuja Oil Creaseless Concealer

I’ve tried everything from liquid to powder, matte mousse to concealer sticks, undereye brightening concealer, you name it… I’ve tried it. I’ve never found a concealer that comes even remotely close to this one. You only need a tiny bit (Seriously – maybe a dot this big: O ) to cover anything. I use it under my eyes and on any imperfections or blemishes. It doesn’t crease and it lasts all day. The best part is that it’s not bad for your face! Buy it. Buy it now. (Sephora link!)

4. Too Faced Pink Leopard Brightening Bronzer

Just a little bit on your cheeks and T-zone does the trick. It gives you a little color without turning you into a pumpkin or making your face sparkle like you’re one of the spice girls. I feel like I need to say this… LADIES – BEING ORANGE IS NOT ATTRACTIVE! Recognize and accept this. Okay, now that I’ve gotten that off my chest, I feel better.

5. Covergirl Perfect Point Plus Eyeliner

I use Espresso most of the time, but sometimes I’ll switch it up to go out and use Black Onyx, Midnight Blue or Plum Velvet. The blue and purple really make my green eyes pop. The reason why I love Perfect Point Eyeliner is because it’s easy to get right on my lash line and I can either smudge it for a smokier look or I can use it to do a cat eye look.

So that’s it! Those are my top beauty picks. I use these religiously. What are your beauty must-haves?? Do any of you use these products?
