Red Bull Sound Select Nashville

Saturday night I went to the Red Bull Sound Select concert in Nashville at Marathon Music Works, which is a killer new-ish venue that I had never been to before and loved! I’m excited because I’ve had tickets for awhile to see Jimmy Eat World here later this next month and it’s going to be a great place to see them play! This Red Bull event was so cool, and different than any other show I’ve been to. It was almost like a mini festival, with local vendors setup inside and an iPad set up almost like a photobooth that uploads your pictures instantly to your social medial which obviously entertained me for EVER. My friend Elizabeth and I took many pictures throughout the night for your viewing pleasure!

So my favorite part about this whole event was that they had a bunch of local artists set up in one corner selling their creations! There was everything from clothes to this one guy who made these incredible bags out of what looked like old seat belts! He had messenger bags, wallets, ipad cases… you name it!

This t-shirt is from a company called PROJECT 615. They employ previously homeless men and women who print these shirts right in Nashville at a local church! All of the proceeds go towards employing more people and getting them off of the streets! Reminds me so much of my friend Caitlin Crosby and her non profit THE GIVING KEYS.
All of this beautiful jewelry is from HARDWEAR MERRY. I got a beautiful gold cross necklace on a leather chain. Check out her stuff at
My new friend Merry who makes all of the jewelry right in Nashville and sells from her home!

The Airborne Toxic Event

My friend Elizabeth accompanied me to the event. we had so much fun!!!!!

Also, our shoes were a HUGE HIT. So many conversations started with our LITAS! (Jeffrey Campbell of course!)

Airborne Toxic Event killing it. My favorite part about this band is that they all move around on stage and play different instruments throughout their set. That’s something I was always wanting to try with my band! So cool!

Thanks Red Bull for an awesome evening 🙂

Are you going to any shows this summer?
