Trend Alert: White Ink Tattoos
A rising trend in the world of tattooing is using all white ink. What do you think? …and celebrities like Rihanna and Lindsay Lohan are jumping on the bandwagon. Lohan wears a small white ink tat on the inside of her wrist that says Breathe. Another celebrity who has a tattoo done in white is Kate Moss. Her tattoo is a series of white hearts running up the side of her body. What do you think of this trend? In my opinion, white ink tattoos are a great example of how body art is becoming more unique. These interesting tats are different than your traditional tattoo because they do not follow the usual tattoo process of stenciling and outlining in black. Instead, the tattoo itself is completely done with white ink, leaving a ghostly image that looks quite different from a traditional tattoo. The style of using white ink throughout the tattoo, however, is gaining a lot of attention. Do you think it’s a fad or is this trend here to stay?
