Music Monday: The Neighbourhood and The 1975

This music Monday I am uber excited to talk about! These groups are becoming my all time favourites, and the fact that I get to see them up close and personal soon tickles my peach.

Music Monday: The Neighbourhood and The 1975

Not only is it the spring season, it’s most importantly music festival season. Thanks to SXSW, I was able to find out about the British alternative rock group, The 1975. When I first listened to their song “Undo,” I was immediatly hooked. Obsession at the least! As for The Neighbourhood, it was a band I had heard a lot about, mainly with the song Sweater Weather. I finally decided to take a listen when their album “I Love You” released April 19th. And I’m in love.

These two bands already have a special place in my heart. As ridiculous as it sounds, it’s true. I had this odd feeling when I listened to them, but it was one of the greatest feelings ever. They’ve been on repeat ever since then, and now they will be at least until June. Why, you ask? Because I get to see them LIVE in Dallas! The excitement is unreal, and I can’t wait to experience this. I’m already feeling surrealism in my soul right now.

I am now thinking that the strange feeling I experienced had a lot to do with what’s to come in future. My heart is screaming with joy, and my soul is starting to get to the place where it needs to be in my life.
