Buzznet All Star Month: We’re Going To The Ru-niversity!

Did you ever have a moment in your life when you were looking at something so new that you forgot all about everything going on around you and you tunnel visioned your way ever so close to this awe inspiring source? Did whatever you fixed your eyes upon completely consume you because you knew in your heart that it was something pure and wonderful and not to be f**ked with?

Well I did, and it was this:

Hello early 90s! I think I was 13 when “Supermodel” came out and I’ve been out since, if even only to my Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle figurines. Anyway, before I make this a post about being a misunderstood baby gay and give us all a case of the sads, I thought I would take you all to the Ru-niversity and clue you in on why RuRu is my All Star.

On days that end with “y,” the lovely Amy “Mas Burritos” Scarlata is usually chastising me for not having started this season of RuPaul’s Drag Race. It’s not that I don’t want to watch the show, it’s just that I like waiting until I can watch back to back episodes of whatever it is that I want to watch on weekends when I feel like doing nothing.

RuPaul is flawless. I hear Ru does hair commercials. In Japan.

RuPaul wants us all to be stars and is ready to dispense the advice (and mascara if you need it)

RuPaul is full of all kinds of interesting words, like this:

RuPaul is the progenitor of No Child Left Behind and wants us all to learn how to read:

RuPaul is magic:

Like any good mother, Ru wants you to make the right decisions when it comes to family:

RuPaul has the best hash tags ever:

Ru also has an amazing vocabulary:

RuPaul has better advice than well, my own mother:

Ru knows what’s up:

And most of all, Ru wants us to do our best. So:

Thanks, RuPaul, for being one of the best people ever. You were the one that taught me that no matter who I am, as long as I grab life by the wig and never let go, I’ll look good in any heels that I rock.

Y’all better go work!
