Maybe I had Selena Gomez all wrong. The baby-faced Disney darling has always come off as the polite and boring type to me, but between Spring Breakers and the whopping display of sassafras she whipped out on The Late Show — I think I like this girl!
Selena visited the ever-difficult David Letterman last night and the unavoidable topic of the mighty Biebs came up, “Last time you were here, you were with a Justin Bieber,” Dave said on the show. “That’s not going on now.”
“No, I’m single,” Gomez said. “I’m so good.”
“Now, the last time he was on, he and I got into a conversation and he said something and I said something, and then he said something and I said something, and I made him cry,” Letterman recalled.
“Well then, that makes two of us,” Selena replied.
BAM! In that moment that tiny person gained David Letterman’s respect, which he showed by offering a fist-bump. BOOM.
