IO Echo‘s self-titled EP has been my newest obsession for the past week since Garbage announced they were opening for them on their Not Your Kind Of People Tour and posted their “When The Lillies Die” video on their Facebook page. I know I say this a lot but this is one band that you’ll be hearing a lot more about in the future!
IO Echo is a “grunge goth” band consisting of Ioanna Gika and Leopold Ross. They were hand picked by Trent Reznor to open for Nine Inch Nails at the band’s last ever show and have also recently composed the score to the Harmony Korine & James Franco film “Rebel.”
IO Echo are set to release their debut album, Ministry Of Love, on April 3rd.
