Kerli Talks All Things ‘Utopia’!
March is a big month for our very own Miss Kerli! Today, March 19th, marks the debut of her brand new album ‘Utopia‘. Kerli described the overall vision for ‘Utopia’ as “somewhat of a mix between fantasy, future, and ancient China…all of it soaked in a pastel space sauce to capture the uber positive energy of the music,” a vision which is expressed in the artwork for the album – a collaboration among Kerli, the photographer Brian Ziff, and artist Natalie Shau.
Coming off of a rocking performance at Perez Hilton’s 6th Annual One Night in Austin showcase during SXSW, Kerli is slated to perform on the Live Stage at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami this Friday, March 22. Hailed as one of the ‘20 Acts You must See‘ by VIBE, this punky princess is on a roll with no signs of slowing down!
We recently sat down with Kerli and got her to talk about all things life, music, and, of course, her new album ‘Utopia‘.
