Justin Timberlake Dedicates ‘Mirrors’ Video To His Grandparents
Once again Justin Timberlake never ceases to amaze me. His music video for his new single off The 20/20 Experience hit pretty close to home. The eight-minute ‘Mirrors’ clip begins with a dedication to his grandparents William and Sadie who were married for 63 years. Amazing. Sadly, his grandparents weren’t able to make it to his October wedding with Jessica Biel because his grandma stood alongside Justin’s grandfather in the hospital during his recovery from intensive heart surgery. About two months later Justin’s grandfather passed away.
This video is the retelling of the couple’s love story at different stages beginning as young lovers in the 1940s….and I think it gives a real interpretation of a love that conquers through both the good and bad times in life. Towards the end of the clip JT does a solo dance through a funhouse hall of mirrors. I don’t want to give it all away but I absolutely love this video.
