Barbara Palvin most recently made headlines for causing some tension between Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez. However, when she’s not making the rounds on the rumor mill, Barbara, 19, is a top level model.
Check out this editorial spread she did for April’s Maire Claire Italia. Titled “Material Girl,” the natural redhead dons a white wig, and channels a very 80s Madonna. The dark looks include pieces from Balenciaga, and Jean Paul Gaultier and are accessorized with lots of fishnet and crucifix jewelry. Set in a modern suburban backyard, the pictures perfectly capture the timeless combinations of boredom and fantasy, and innocence and edginess that all girls an relate to.
