With the year coming to a swift end and the new year just peeking around the corner, many people come up with New Year’s resolutions. I am definitely one of those people, but another practice I like to do is reflect on the achievements and experiences of the year. Since coming to Buzznet,I’ve had the pleasure of interviewing some of the hottest celebrities for the site, asking them questions that you – the fans – want to know! This year alone, I’ve had the amazing opportunity to interview some really amazing actors and actresses.
Here are my top 10 favorite interviews of 2012:
My first interview of 2012 was a major one: the beautiful Selena Gomez. With all the media surrounding her (especially with Justin Bieber) made it a little intimidating, but Selena was an absolute doll!
One of the highlights of my year was attending the John Carter press junket on location in Arizona, where I interviewed the hunky Taylor Kitsch! The former Friday Night Lights actor was just as foxy in person as he is on-screen. I definitely got bitten by the Taylor Kitsch bug after that one!

One rainy weekend I was invited to the set of the upcoming Nick at Nite show, Wendell and Vinnie, for a first-look exclusive for Buzznet. It was such a fun experience – from the infinitely funny Jerry Trainor (who DIDN’T love him on iCarly?!) to the gorgeous Haley Strode to the legendary Nicole Sullivan (LOVED her on MAD TV!) to the charming Buddy Handleson! I can’t wait to see what 2013 brings for this wonderful cast!

Everyone’s favorite redheaded soft spoken actress/singer Ariana Grande was such a cutie! I interviewed her when Buzznet was invited to the set of Victorious and I was able to chat with Ari about boy bands and fashion.

I’ve adored Jackson ever since he played Nathan and Haley’s kid, Jamie, on One Tree Hill. The adorable actor is just as charming and polite in person as he is on-screen! Bonus points: He shuffled for me when I visited the set of his show See Dad Run!

Let’s be honest: just to be present at the Video Music Awards is an honor in itself. Like many of you, I grew up watching the MTV VMAs with wide eyes, wishing I could sneak a peek at all the celebs in attendance. So when I was told I would be covering the carpet for Buzznet, I was ecstatic (and a bit nervous!). I spoke with Twilight‘s Jackson Rathbone for the first time on that carpet and he was a ball!

This interview will always have a special place for me, as it was my first on-camera interview in our Buzznet studios! Roberto was a dream interview: very sweet and made me feel like I was just talking to a friend!

When I first learned I was going to interview Leslie Mann, I was a little nervous… after all, she’s LESLIE MANN! Luckily, I had nothing to worry about. When I walked into the room, the This is 40 star was noshing on cupcakes and just being her amazing self. Phew!

Right after I watched a screening of the final Twilight movie, Breaking Dawn Part 2, Noel Fisher paid a visit to the Buzznet studios for a chat. It was really amazing to watch the epic movie and talk to someone involved in it. And Noel was a total sweetheart!
