Meg Frampton Of Meg & Dia Releases New Music As ‘The Khaki Scouts’
Earlier this year Meg & Dia officially announced their break up as a band. It was a bummer. Luckily, following her 2nd place finish on season one of The Voice, Dia Frampton released a solo record titled Red. It’s currently hitting big in Asia.
Meg focused on her adorable robot jewelry line for awhile but, the music bug is a hard one to shake. Over the holidays Meg and her former bandmate/real life fella, Nick Price, released an acoustic album titled 12 Days under the moniker The Khaki Scouts.
The 12 song offering is an absolute treasure! While Meg may not be known for powerhouse vocals like Dia, her voice is equally beautiful and has a darling folky quality reminiscent of popular indie singers like Maria Taylor. Meg & Dia fans will appreciate the descriptive lyrics sung artfully on The Khaki Scouts record. New fans will fall in love with these heartfelt ditties in no time.
