Three For Free: The Atlantic, Daughter And Urban Avenue Have Free Music For YOU

More and more bands are beginning to see the benefits of offering free music downloads. Why? Because it’s a great way to reward fans for their loyalty – and gain some new, if somewhat frugal, ones too. It also increases any bands chances of being featured on some wonderful blogs *cough cough*.

As always, if you enjoy music and free things then this blog is for you. Scroll down for this week’s selection of MPFreebies.

The Atlantic

Although easily confused with their semi-identical namesake Twin, The Atlantic have a different sound to their Scottish title siblings. They don’t have a hit single or album called ‘Free‘, however they do have a song which is free – literally.

Their new song ‘Take Care’ was recorded with Erik Ron (Panic! At The Disco, VersaEmerge, Saosin) and is available now via Purevolume.

Daughter

Indie dahlings Daughter are arguably best known for their song ‘Youth‘ – AKA “that-song-off-the-Skins-advert”. Those who have no further knowledge of the much hyped band can learn a bit more with this lesson in ‘Love‘. Listen to the song below and you never know, you just might fall in love with your new favourite band.

The closing track of their ‘The Wild Youth‘ EP is offered as a free download by Spinner.com.

Fully embracing the internet to share their music, the Belfast boys are happily sharing their latest release ‘Bottoms Up‘ with fans for free. Let’s all jump with joy!

You can download the MP3 of their new song via their Facebook Bandpage app now.
