Hollywood Heartache! Skrillex And Ellie Goulding Break Up!
One of music’s favorite couples has decided to call it quits! Skrillex and Ellie Goulding have reportedly split after almost a year of dating! The 24-year-old dubstep king and and 25-year-old songstress first stepped out as a couple in February of this year and have been inseparable since. Skrillex gushed in interviews about his British gal pal and the two even double-dated with one-half of another famed couple, Selena Gomez.
What caused Skrillex and Ellie’s split? Nothing like a good old fashioned long distance: Ellie lives in the U.K. and is currently touring the world to promote her album Halcyon, while Skrillex lives in the U.S.
A source close to Ellie told The Sun: “It’s really sad, they were really good for each other. They just couldn’t make it work. They both have successful careers and live in different countries.”
Bummer! Hopefully they can work it out and maybe get back together in the future? As Ellie sings in her new single: “Anything could happen!”
