Ghost Town Haunts Hollywood With New Single

Haunting from Hollywood, CA, the electro-rock band Ghost Town is putting me in the mood for my favorite holiday – Halloween!

Since the beginning of September, Ghost Town has released a free single each week on PureVolume for what they call Ghost Town Tuesdays. I’d usually be alarmed by a band that sang about zombie girls, blood and digging up graves, but their electronic beats are super fun.

My favorite has to be “You’re So Creepy.”It’s cool how it begins with eerie haunted house noices and then jumps into an upbeat dance song that still sounds sinister.

Their song “Ghost in the Machine” (featuring Chris Shelley of At the Skylines) was released last week along with a video featuring artist Alister Dippner, who painted a colorful robot girl with little ghosts escaping from her head. Prints of Alister’s painting are up for sale on his online store, The Machinist Factory. If you take a peek, you’ll also see his vivid artwork for the other Ghost Town singles!

Ghost Town’s next show in Hollywood will be at Club Moscow on Oct. 10.

Ghost Town claims to be the Haunted Youth. Are you?
