Flashback Friday: 5 Babysitting Adventure Movies
There’s nothing more of a bummer than having to babysit when you have other places to be – like, say, your crush’s Halloween party! That’s a dilemma Victoria Justice faces in her new movie Fun Size (out today!). And Victoria’s not alone – it’s happened to many folks in real-life as well as on-screen! In honor of the flick Fun Size‘s release today, here are 5 babysitting adventure movies:
Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead (1991)
The original babysitter’s situation wasn’t exactly ideal, but Christina Applegate and her on-screen siblings made the babysitting aspect a lot more fun!
The Babysitters’ Club (1995)
Based on the Ann M. Martin books, the flick was all about a babysitting club that – gasp – actually loves kids!
Mrs. Doubtfire (1993)
One of the funniest movies about babysitting is also arguably the saddest. Robin Williams makes this hilarious movie about a dad dressing up as an elderly lady to spend time with his kids.
Adventures in Babysitting (1987)
After seeing this movie, you’ll definitely get a case of “babysitting blues” – and that’s not a bad thing!
Mary Poppins (1967)
Perhaps one of the most popular babysitter of all time, Mary Poppins knew how to have fun, make fun things out of mundane chores and living life on the edge – or in the air!
Which babysitting movie is your favorite?
