Style Profile: Hanne Gaby Odiele
24-year-old model Hanne Gaby Odiele has the most distinctive street style out of any model I’m familiar with, and a pretty distinctive backstory as well. Hanne started modeling in 2005. Just one year later, she was hit by a car and broke both legs, the accident bringing her modeling career to a stand-still. After undergoing multiple surgeries and months of physical therapy, Hanne jumped right back into modeling and walked several fall and spring 2008 shows for the likes of Chanel, Prada, Givenchy, and more. Hanne’s outfits never failed to impress even while she had to use a cane when recovering from her accident. Hanne has such a sweet and unpretentious personality, so it’s no suprise that she’s friends with seemingly every model she has worked with. Also, let’s appreciate her stuffed unicorn.
