5 Reasons Why Season 4 Of ‘Glee’ Is Pitch Perfect!

Glee fans rejoice: the season 4 premiere of the hit FOX show airs tonight – and there are tons in store on the new season! While there was much talk of the original New Directions members (and some of our favorite characters) leaving the show, creator Ryan Murphy has insisted that’s not the case and promises an exciting new season! What can we look forward to seeing on season 4?

Here are 5 reasons why you should tune in to season 4 of Glee:

1. Kate Hudson and Sarah Jessica Parker make appearances. Kate joins the premiere episode as Rachel’s (Lea Michele) NYADA dance instructor Cassandra July, while SJP comes onboard as Kurt’s (Chris Colfer) Vogue editor Isabelle Klempt.

2. New characters on the show to meet. In addition to the season 3 cast, there are a number of new faces on Glee: Dean Geyer, who plays an upperclassman at Rachel’s school who has an interest in her; Jacob Artist, who plays Puck’s (Mark Salling) younger brother; Becca Tobin, who plays a cheerleader named Kitty; and Melissa Benoist, who plays Marley Rose.

3. There’s another Britney episode! Entitled Britney 2.0, Glee pulls off another Britney Spears tribute episode with 8 of the pop icon’s hits.

4. The Glee Project‘s Blake Jenner hits the screen. TGP season 2 winner Blake plays Ryder, a new student at McKinley High School.

5. There’s even more catchy new tunes! Cover songs to look forward to this season: Carly Rae Jepsen‘s “Call Me Maybe,” Imagine Dragons‘ “It’s Time,” Demi Lovato‘s “Give Your Heart a Break,” Adele‘s “Chasing Pavements,” No Doubt‘s “Don’t Speak” – and much more!

If you dig Glee, you’ll LOVE Pitch Perfect, which is the big screen equivalent to our favorite TV show!

Glee premieres tonight September 13th at 9/8c on FOX. Pitch Perfect hits theaters one week early on September 28th!
