Want Your Dreams To Come True? Use a Dream Board!

I’m almost positive that at least 80% of human beings have had dreams and goals, some bigger and some smaller, that they would like to accomplish in their lives. But sadly, sometimes people give up on their dreams because they can’t find the motivation to accomplish that goal or dream. To succeed in life it is key to have motivations and reminders, and dream boards will do exactly that. Dream boards (also known as vision boards, treasure boards, creativity collages etc…) are a collage of images of who you want to become, what you want to have, what you want to accomlish and etc… After you have made your dream board just spend a small amount of time each day in a quite room by yourself looking and focusing on the pictures of your dreams and goals.

Your pobably thinking “How can a poster board with images on it help me to accomplish my goals and dreams?” The idea behind dream boards is that when you surround yourself with images of your dreams and goals your life will change to match those images and those desires. I believe that if you focus and meditate on anything you can accomplish it. Many celebrities like Oprah Winfrey, Michael Jordan, and Nastia Liukin have used dream boards to accomplish there dreams and goals.

Here are five simple steps on how to create your dream board:

Step 1. Buy Supplies

Before you start making your dream board you will need the right suplies. The supplies you will need are poster boards, scissors, glue sticks, printing paper, and magazines. You will be able to find most of these supplies at your local art and crafts store.

Step 2. Think About What You Would Like to Accomplish

Before you start making your dream board you need to set down and think about your goals and dreams in life. It is good to have in mind before making your dream board what you would like to accomplish, have, and become. The best place to think about this is somewhere quiet where you are by yourself. Also have a sheet of paper and a pencil so that you can start listing your goals.

Step 3. Find Images That Match Your Goals

After you have decided what your goals and dreams are, start looking for images that match them! Look through magazines and images on the internet. Try to find images that you will want to look at. Once you have found the right image that matches your goal, cut it out.

Step 4. Arrange Your Dream Board

Once you have found all the images that match your dreams and goals arrange them on the poster board without gluing them so you can see where they would fit best. Use very vibrant colors and put things on your board that will catch your eye and make you want to look at it. You can also put words on your dream board. A great idea is to leave space in the middle of you board so you can place a picture of yourself that makes you look radiant and happy. After you have found a place for all of your pictures, glue them.

Step 5. Look at Your Dream board

After you have completed your dream board, hang it somewhere that you will see it often, such as by your bed or on the fridge. Remember to take time every day and look at it!

I hope that this blog will inspire you to make your own dream board. I hope you look at your dream board everyday! Remember, if you meditate you can accomplish anything.
