Latest ‘DREDD’ Movie Has Slo-Mo And 3D (VIDEO)
The combination of 3D, slow motion and an irradiated, futuristic America makes for great visuals in this installment of the DREDD series. Karl Urban stars as Dredd, a “judge” charged with keeping order in the distopian society. His protege is played by the usually adorable Olivia Thirlby. She ditches her quirky Juno image as a psychic, Cassandra Anderson, who helps Dredd take down a drug lord. In the film, described as “futuristic neo-noir,” the good guys are trying to put an end to a drug, “Slo-Mo,” that slows life down and is crippling the city.
