2. Made up of Ninja, Yolandi Vi$$er, and DJ Hi-Tek.

3. Die Antwoord performed live for the first time ever at Ramfest 3 in February 2009. Their first international concert was at Coachella.

4. Ninja and Yo Landi have a child together who’s name is Sixteen.

5. In interviews they have stated multiple times that they do not have a romantic relationship despite sharing a child.

14. Ninja is most commonly known in Cape Town as “Waddy”, but frequently will not answer to this name.

15. Ninja describes the band’s look as, “It’s kind of like apocalyptic debris. You’ll get a kid in Liberia wearing a Tupac T-shirt, and for us that’s zef. People try to say it’s like trash, but it’s not really trash. It’s putting things together you think are cool.”
