Get The Look: Moonrise Kingdom
So I finally saw Moonrise Kingdom and it was all the super cutes, aesthetically pleasing, Wes Anderson goodness that I expected. The story was charming and heart-wrenching, the acting was incredible, but what really got me was the styling. The film is set in the 60s, and everything from the clean-scrubbed scouts uniforms (those raccoon patches!) to the island cop outfit that Bruce Willis ran was impeccable. The best though? Suzy Bishop (played by Kara Hayward) and her pitch-perfect little dresses (usually I hate a Peter Pan collar but they just looked SO GOOD on her), knee socks, and ever-present binoculars.
