Kids In Glass Houses and Friends Raise The Roof at The Great Escape Festival, Brighton, UK

Often described as Europe’s answer to SXSW, The Great Escape Festival kicked off in Brighton, England yesterday. Among the several hundred tipped-to-be-big artists playing the 3-day fest, Rock Sound magazine are showcasing the UK’s best contemporary rock bands at the Concorde 2.

Yesterday, Kids In Glass Houses headlined with the help of Max Raptor, Don Broco and Lower Than Atlantis. The night was packed with photo-opps of bands jumping into the crowd, and although I’ll confess that I didn’t capture all of the best rock-star poses (due to having too much of a good time to bother snapping photos – sorry), here’s a gallery of some of my best snaps as well as a clip of KIGH’s Aled Phillips transforming into an acrobatic on the ceiling of the Concorde 2. If you weren’t there – you missed out big style.
