Artist Of The Month: Gentlemen Hall

Welcome to the first installment of Artist Of The Month! Every month, I will be choosing a certain band or artist that I’m obsessing over. The rest is in your hands. What you decide to do with this information may or may not change your life in some way. Just sayin’.

Gentlemen Hall are a synthpop (with a flute) Boston-based band (try saying that really fast) who caught my attention on last year’s Billboard Music Awards. I’m a sucker for anything with a synth that has an 80’s feel to it so these boys were right up my alley. With only one song on iTunes at the time I was dying to hear more. Finally, September rolled around and they released their first EP When We All Disappear. CONFIRMED: There are flutes in heaven.

Take a listen for yourself:

If you like what you hear there’s even BETTER news: You can get their EP for FREE (or name your price) here but personally if I were you, I’d kick it old school and buy a physical copy. 🙂

Check out their website for official tour dates. If you’re headed to SXSW this year not only do I envy you but I advise you go check them out…along with LIGHTS! 😉
