Miguel Adrover Uses Lifesavers, Grass, And Middle Fingers In Fall 2012 Collection

From a middle fingered hat to what appears to be a monster from the green lagoon, designer Miguel Adrover shows us that he’s back for good during his fall 2012 runway show at New York Fashion Week.

After been in hiatus for about seven years, Miguel Adrover shows us another unorthodox collection full of reconstructed pieces from things he collected from his Majorcan home, a leather jacket from the late Alexander McQueen, and even country flags (yes, our beloved American flag was fully represented with a lifesaver over the model’s neck).

As wild and bizarre as Miguel Adrover’s designs were, his fall 2012 collection paid homage to the concept of recycling and a greener world – hence this Oscar the Grouch look-a-like piece from the runway.

Definitely not considered as typical wearable pieces, this collection will speak to a few clients in mind (ahem, Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj).

Scroll through the gallery for our favorite pieces from the collection, and let us know if you would don any of them on the streets!
