Die Antwoord Wilds Out In New Alexander Wang Commercial
South African Rave-Rap aliens Die Antwoord like to keep it weird, and their appearance in this new T By Alexander Wang campaign is no exception. While the wildly-styled duo are a seemingly strange choice for Alexander Wang‘s minimalist chic, the schizophrenic, split-screen, black-and-white-to-color-back-to-black-and-white situation that is happening somehow totally works. Ninja and Yo-LAndi Vi$$er writhe around the screen to the strains of their new track “Fatty Boom Boom” (sample lyrics: Yip-I-Ki-Yay Mother-F*cker) while large T logos hover over their faces, and while I’m not sure what it has to do with the clothing (if anything), I like it.
