Big Time Rush Elevates Los Angeles

Saturday night in Los Angeles, Nickeldeon superstars Big Time Rush claimed the city as theirs with an incredible performance at the Gibson Amphitheater.

Big Time Rush‘s show instantly brought you back to the days of Backstreet Boys and Nsync. And if there’s a boy band manual, they’ve definitely read it! The guys of BTR proved that the boy band is back with a sold out crowd packed with fans of all ages, all equally impressed by the band’s dances moves and on stage theatrics.

Carlos, Kendall, Logan and James were all spot on vocally throughout the evening, opening the show with ‘Big Time Rush,’ the theme song to their hit Nickelodeon show. The guys bounced onto the stage on a trampoline, which provided the guys with lots of opportunities to show off their aerobatic skills and choreography during the show. Their peppy performance also included hits like ‘Boyfriend,’ ‘City is Ours,’ and ‘Nothing Even Matters’ and some pretty awesome and well coordinated dance moves.

Los Angeles proved to be a special show for the group as it was collectively their hometown. They took the chance to sing ‘Cover Girl’ up close and personal with their fans, moving out into the audience to serenade some lucky concert go-ers. The band also brought a fan on stage to sing ‘Worldwide’ to, a tradition that will continue for the rest of the tour. Please enjoy a video of LA’s Worldwide girl being totally adorable and freaking out on stage!

The band closed out the evening with several more hits, but after they departed the stage fans exclaimed that they weren’t quite ready for the show to end! The band returned for an encore complete with confetti explosions and some crazy pyrotechnics.

Big Time Rush is on tour through mid March with Jojo and One Direction opening on select dates. It’s a fun show for all ages! Maybe you’ll even get your own chance to be the Worldwide Girl!
