Storytellers Assignment #6: Challenge Accepted

I was going to try to do something new for this project but it’s due today and that is rather fitting, as I want to write about my challenge, which is time management. I really hope that I don’t set off the damn spam filter that Buzznet has with that phrase right there. Anymews, here are some old photos that I will try to weave into my story about time and how it is just slipping through my fingers.

It’s really weird when I think about how I don’t do much of anything yet I am always busy. If it’s not one thing, it’s another, and three more things on top of that. Whenever I have some time to myself, I don’t want to do anything but sit around and watch Netflix as I eat sunflower seeds and have a beer.

Sometimes I feel like I hit walls that block me from doing what I want to do next. Whatever those walls are, thank goodness for the little peep holes that let me peer on through to the other side so that I can start to formulate plans that I never feel like I have time to make. No wonder why I am so spur of the moment. If I plan things out, stuff happens and my plans fall apart. If I just go and do stuff when I feel like it, those things seem to get done.

Even though I always feel like I don’t have enough time to do everything I want, I have to remember to relax and stay calm. I am getting pretty good at being a lotus. I just have to take breaks here and there and get ready for what I am going to do next.

I can’t do anything about time passing but just keep on making memories and choices that will stay with me for all my days. I guess that’s what it’s all about for me. Even though things can get hectic at times, I take the time out to try to create and do things that I want to because in the end, that’s kind of all that matters.

I hope this made sense. If it’s anything like life, it probably didn’t. That’s okay. Hopefully it was nice to look at.
