Real Life Style Inspiration: Jadan Huter

For this week’s Real Life Style Inspiration, I chose my lovely friend Jadan Huter. Jadan has been surrounded by the arts all her life (with a family full of accomplished artists and a mother as a professional photographer) – traveling to international fashion destinations such as Japan, France, and Italy. Being exposed to such diverse cultures at such an early age has helped mold her into the fashion forward thinker she is today. Jadan currently serves as the Executive Assistant/Writer for The Blonde and the Brunette. She describes her personal style as being little bit of everything…but if she had it her way she’d dress like she was at the Woodstock music festival everyday. Needless to say, the vintage bohemian style is her favorite look.

Jadan’s closet ranges from high fashion, to vintage, to modern…she believes pairing the three together creates the perfect look! Currently, her favorite clothing stores are Free People, Wasteland, Squaresville, Jet Rag and flea markets (Fairfax/Rose Bowl). Her favorite colors are simple: Red, black and white…and her favorite shoes are still a pair of brown boots she got from Amsterdam four years ago – she refuses to get rid of them! She looks up to style Icons such as Jimi Hendrix, Bridget Bardot, and Miss Coco Chanel herself.

Jadan finds inspiration in people who are not afraid to be and do exactly what they feel, who are confident in themselves, who put their friends and family first, and who achieve their dreams without crushing anyone else’s. As far as fashion goes, she’s really drawn towards people who aren’t afraid to stand out and be different. Whether it be grungy, preppy, or bohemian – just as long as they love what they put on in the morning. Jadan believes that fashion has no boundaries, and finds inspiration in every interaction she has. In the future, she would love to continue writing, transforming her wardrobe, create one of a kind jewelry and accessories, and investing more time to her true passions (painting and film).
