People’s Choice Awards Diss Russell Brand Over His Divorce With Katy Perry!
Break-ups are never easy and when you’re living in the spotlight it’s magnified like, a jillion times. Unfortunately for Russell Brand, he’s really feeling the heat after news broke that after just over a year of marriage he was filing for divorce from pop mega-star, Katy Perry.
Originally slated to attend the People’s Choice Awards January 11, Russell has now been uninvited due to 27-year-old Katy being nomintaed in seven categories!
UK news outlet, The Mirror, is reporting that the decision to take Russell off the list was in the best interest of both parties.
“It will be Katy’s big night, a prelude to the Grammys, and now Russell has been strangely left off the list of attendees for the high-profile event,” a source said. “It was always going to be awkward for organisers in any case after their shock decision to split. But in order to avoid any awkwardness or confrontation Russ is no longer on the list.”
Ouch!
