Is Miley Cyrus The New Carrie Bradshaw?
Sex and the City the TV show may have ended years ago in 2004, but it’s been confirmed that the show will be back! The hit HBO TV series has spawned two movies since wrapping, and while a third movie isn’t in the horizon just yet, a new TV show is! The CW has scheduled a pilot for a weekly show based on Sex and the City author Candace Bushnell’s prequel The Carrie Diaries – and while she’s not officially confirmed, Miley Cyrus is eyeing a starring role! Miley as Carrie Bradshaw?
“I’d love it,” Miley said according to The Sun.“I’m not attached [to the project], so I don’t want to say that, but that would be very cool.”
The Carrie Diaries chronicles a teenage Carrie Bradshaw moving to the big city of New York and how she ends up meeting Samantha Jones.
This wouldn’t be Miley’s first time working on a Sex and the City project: she made a cameo appearance in the second movie playing herself.
