What did you achieve in 2011 that you are most proud of?

Definitely getting a band together and being out on the open road fora few months. We have to say, being on tour with some of the mostgenuine artists around has encouraged us a ton!

What was the biggest obstacle 2011 presented?

Well, putting a full-length out is never perfectly smooth sailing. It’swas really intense there for a little bit with all the communicationthat needs to take place both from our record label, producers, andall the other creative minds that go into the process. We would say itwasn’t so much as an obstacle as it was just a higher degree of focuswe had to rise to to bring the whole thing together.

What was your theme song this year?

Theme song? Oh man…well, we have to admit to the fact thatSkrillex‘s remix of La Roux’s “In for the Kill” was playing a lot inthe van, mostly off of our drummer’s prompting, but I we all dig it.

What is your New Year’s Resolution?

As a band, we just have to admit to the fact that there needs to moreshopping for veggies on the road and less Wendy’s Junior baconcheese-burgers.

What was your favorite album of 2011?

Well, it will vary for us all, but speaking for Bryant and myself, welove Burst Apart by The Antlers, which came out in May this year Ibelieve.

What are some big things on your to-do list for 2012?

Definitely being on the road as much as possible. We love spendingtime with other bands, and we sort of feel like the relationships wegain from being on the road with them is always something that changesour perspectives. There is always something new to be learned. Soreally, the road for us is the Big To-Do!

Fill in the blank: “It’s 2012, I can’t believe we don’t have _____ yet”
