Ke$ha Covers Bob Dylan – But It Doesn’t Sound Like You’d Expect

You can almost hear the elitists crying at the idea of Ke$ha ‘crucifying’ Bob Dylan’s “Don’t Think Twice, It’s Alright” but this is not the popped-up glitter-sprinkled version that fans may have feared. To put it bluntly, Ke$ha sounds nothing like Ke$ha. This recording is the work of Kesha ‘sans dollar sign’ Rose Sebert.

The cover features on Amnesty International’s charity record, “Chimes Of Freedom: The Songs Of Bob Dylan” (it’s a great cause so support it!). The album features recordings from a LARGE diverse range of artists including Natasha Bedingfield, My Chemical Romance, Elvis Costello and Miley Cyrus. What will the rest sound like? Who knows? Maybe Adele’s live version of Make You Feel My Love will be happy and upbeat…or maybe not. The full album drops on Amnesty’s 50th Birthday on January 24th, but in the mean time you can enjoy Ke$ha’s rendition.

Are you shocked by Ke$ha’s cover?

Is it a change for the better or the worse?
