Even Cowgirls Get the Blues: Wildfox Couture feat. Jeffrey Campbell
There has never been a Wildfox Couture lookbook that I wasn’t utterly obsessed with. And that definitely rings true for their latest Spring 2012 collection titled ‘Even Cowgirls Get the Blues’. It’s a nod to the western film genre, “encapsulating its movie stars like Faye Dunaway and Clint Eastwood on set in costume with big hair, cowboy boots, prop guns strapped to their hips, and the romanticism behind spaghetti westerns of the 1960’s”. There is really nothing to say here. The pictures speak for themselves. But I must mention that I am equally excited that the lookbook features Jeffrey Campbell’s Sgt. Pepper, Lonestar, and Dallas designs from their upcoming collaboration. I want everything please!
