Three For Free #8: Free CHRISTMAS Music!

Sitting on top of Twitter’s trending topics today is #HelloDecember and even though today is still November, advent begins tomorrow so it’s time to get together your Christmas playlist ready. Here’s a few freebies which you can accept as early gifts from me.

Alyssa Rubino

This is as sickly sweet as a sugar coated candy cane doused in syrup with lyrics about world peace and “trees filled with love”. If you deny yourself from singing along to “The angels are singing, do you hear the bells ringing?” you’re a scrooge you really are. To get this cheesy Christmas gem for free all you have to do is sign up to this 13-year old mini-pop star’s fan club but if you can’t admit to yourself that you like this song and that you’re a “Lil’ Wonder” then you’ll just have to replay it non-stop on Youtube…just so you can press the dislike button obviously.

Belgrave

Everything going to be alright? Why because it’s Christmas Day, well at least that’s what “artistic pop” band Belgrave seem to think. So spare your Noel pessimism and embrace the festivities by downloading this lil’ cracker of a tune before I make anymore unbarable Xmas-related puns.

Sleeping At Last

One song is not enough? No? Well fine then, here’s an entire album. Sleeping At Last (AKA Ryan O’Neal who is now the sole member) is giving away 12 tracks including covers of classics such as “White Christmas” and “O, Holy Night”. If you like Christmas, you’ll like this – plain and simple. It is free, of course, but if you want to get higher up on Santa’s nice list you can make a donation to support the artist.
