Spring 2012 Wardrobe Predictions

I’ve been looking around at stores, and judging by the prints I’m seeing, I’d say “animal” and “floral” are gonna be huge in 2012. Here are 7 of my predictions for Spring 2012.

Here are some outfit ideas and essentials I’m suggesting. Check them out!

1. Floral Skirt

This skirt (also available in black and blue) is from Forever21. (//www.forever21.com/Product/Product.aspx?br=f21&category=btms_skirts&ProductID=2008586081) Currently, it’s $7.80. I’m thinking about getting this white skirt, and the navy one. They’re both so cute. I also love the outfit in this picture. Hopefully I can find an oversized sweater to go with them, or I can always have a plain tank top and a cardigan.

2. Hello Kitty

Forever21 recently launched an Exlusive Hello Kitty line with Sanrio. The line is beginning to come to America, and is already being sold in Tokyo! Audrey Kitching was fortunate enough to score an invite, check out her gallery about the release party! ( //audrey-forever21forhellokit.buzznet.com/user/photos/)

Check out some of the clothes here at Forever21.com or in stores: //www.forever21.com/Product/Category.aspx?br=f21&category=promo_hellokitty

3. Animal Tights

I saw some animal tights are Charlotte Russe, and they’re cute! They aren’t too bold, but they aren’t so clear that no one will notice them.

I’m loving the leopard/cheetah ones, but the pack also comes with some zebra tights too.

4. Material Girls

Madonna’s daughter sure has made some fun clothes. I think they’ll be all the rage this spring. She hasn’t released a spring collection yet, but I’m sure she’ll be out with some later.

5. Booties

Charlotte Russe has the cutest booties I’ve seen in a while. From classic to modern, laces to zippers, they’ve got the biggest variety.

Here are some that I really like…

-Corset back flat booties (//www.charlotterusse.com/product/index.jsp?productId=12376930 – $25.50)

I like the red because it makes them very vibrant. These are the ultimate spring shoes!

-Strap Covered Peep Toe Booties (//www.charlotterusse.com/product/index.jsp?productId=11796238 – $40.00)

These also come in black and brown, but personally, I like the ones shown below (grey) or the brown because it makes them more neutral softer than the black ones. Black is more of a winter color.

-Cheetah Velvet Heels (//www.charlotterusse.com/product/index.jsp?productId=12089998 – $42.50). Pair these with neutral colored clothes to add a bold statement to any outfit.

-Ruched Velvet Booties (//www.charlotterusse.com/product/index.jsp?productId=12342267 – $38.00)

These also come in black, red, or grey. I suggest getting the blue, red or grey because they’re more bold and softer than the black pair.

6. Floral Hairbows

I saw this hair bow at Forever21, and imagine how cute it would look with curly hair, a blue cardgian, a cute skirt and some heels? This hairbow is so adorable!

7. Pastel Hair

I predict there will be a huge increase in pastel hair colors. These nice soft colors are perfect for spring! Check out some of these…

-“Mystic Heather” by Manic Panic (//www.manicpanic.com/besthaircolor/mysticheather.html)

Purchase for around $8.99 at Sally Beauty Supply Stores (//www.sallybeauty.com/) or online at www.manicpanic.com.

-“Cotton Candy Pink” by Manic Panic (//www.manicpanic.com/besthaircolor/cottoncandypink.html)

Purchase for around $8.99 at Sally Beauty Supply Stores (//www.sallybeauty.com/) or online at www.manicpanic.com.

Of course, the possibilities are endless. You can try a light blue, green, peach color, yellow. Anything is possible.
