Running Nightmares……Chapter Five
Emily told them what happened, detail by detail.
“So do you have any idea who it was?” Jared asks once she’s finished.
“Um, no I don’t” Emily says now giving Shannon a strange look.
Shannon looks at her funny but says nothing.
About an hour later Emily is given the OK to leave by the doctor.
“Of course I’m fine. I passed out, not like I was ran over by a truck” Emily says now getting her stuff from the nurse.
“We’ll leave you to get yourself together, then me and Jared will fallow you and Shan home and hang for a bit” Gabrielle says as she and the boys head out the door.
“Nah, you and Jared head home, I’ve got Shan, I’ll be ok” Emily says with a smile.
“No buts” Gabrielle says now closing the door.
Emily sighs, “But I need to talk to Shannon” she says to herself.
