Small Black has had an interesting career. Their debut EP was raw and gritty but still thick enough to let the catch the wave with Washed Out, opening up for him and playing as his backing band. Then came their first LP with the song, Photojournalist, which was gnar as fuck. Now, with this new Moon Killer Mixtape, they’ve created their most mature and best sounding work thus far.
