Justin Bieber To Go On ‘Maury’ For Paternity Results?

With his new Christmas album Under the Mistletoe out already, possible-baby daddy Justin Bieber is making the talk show rounds. One talk show he’s been invited to: the Maury Povich Show – but it’s certainly not to discuss the new album! Maury, which is notoriously known for its controversial show topics including paternity results, has reached out to Justin and invited him to determine whether or not he fathered a baby when he was 16.

“We are actively pursuing this story,” a spokesperson for the show told the Huffington Post.

If you hadn’t heard, a young woman named Mariah Yeater has stepped forward and claims that the Biebs is the father of her baby. 20-year-old Mariah claims that she met Justin backstage at an L.A. concert a year ago, where they did the deed and thus produced a baby. Justin claims he has never met Mariah – and he isn’t taking these claims as a joke either: he vows to take a paternity test and then allegedly will sue Mariah Yeater.

So will the Biebs agree to take the test on Maury?

“This would be a huge TV event,” Amy Rosenblum, former executive producer of Maury, told Huffington Post. “When I brought the DNA test to TV for the first time on Maury, I had no idea it would still be as popular today as it was then. Maury is trusted by millions of viewers and if Maury told Justin ‘You are not the father,’ everyone would believe it.”

Do you think Justin Bieber should go on Maury to get the paternity results? What do you think the results will say?
