EXCLUSIVE: Nightwish’s New Music Video “Storytime” From “Imaginaerum”

The wait is over! After 4 years from their last album “Dark Passion Play“, Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish come back on scene with their new concept album “Imaginaerum” (avaiable from December 2nd) and their first single “Storytime” a mix between Snow White, a circus and The Phantom of The Opera.

Something of completly different from the past albums but you can always listen Nightwish touch in the melody. They never disappoint the fans and this time they wanna give more to them!

The video also shows the behind the scenes of the movie which takes the same name of the album.

Imaginaerum is not only a concept album but also a movie written by Tuomas Holopainen, keyboard player and founding of the band.

The first premiere show of this new era will be in Universal City, CA at Gibson Amphitheater on January 21, 2012, the greatest Nightwish concert ever in US country. Something to don’t miss!

I really can’t wait to see them again on April 25, 2011 in Milan for an awesome show.

You can also check out a special interview to Tuomas about the idea for “Storytime” music video and how this song was born and why this single represents the whole new album:
