Miley Cyrus to Cover Bob Dylan: Will She Do It Justice?

Remember back in May when Miley Cyrus did a rendition of Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit”? Looks like Miley is making her cover comeback… and this time she’s covering Bob Dylan! The teen pop sensation is joining the ranks of My Morning Jacket, Ke$ha, Adele and more to cover a variety of Bob Dylan’s songs for a tribute album for the musical icon. The album is to be titled Chimes Of Freedom: Songs Of Bob Dylan Honoring 50 Years of Amnesty International and is planned to be released in early 2012. All the proceeds from the compilation album will be donated to Amnesty International.

Adele will be contributing her rendition of the Bob Dylan song “Make You Feel My Love” (which was also featured on her album 19) while Ke$ha will be singing “Don’t Think Twice, It’s Alright.” It is not known which Dylan song Miley will be singing.

Apparently it won’t be the first time Miley will be covering Bob Dylan: according to AOL, she’s already covered one of his songs at a recent concert. Maybe she’s getting ready for the Amnesty album?

Do you think Miley Cyrus will do Bob Dylan justice with her cover? Which Bob Dylan song do you think she should sing?
