If you were a ghost, which place would you choose to haunt?

I’d probably choose someplace in Salem, Massachusetts, just because people that visit there are kind of hoping something supernatural will happen and it would be so easy to mess with them.

Which horror movie villain could you outsmart?

Jason. It always seemed like somehow the people he was stalking were even dumber than him.

When was the last time you were truly frightened?

In my early teens I spent a night alone in Grandma’s house, which is out in the country in the mid-West. I also had just seen The Texas Chainsaw Massacre for the first time. Let’s just say my imagination ran away with me.

What’s the most unintentionally scary person place or thing you can think of?

I once saw an episode of Dancing with the Stars. There are no words to describe how terrified I was…

If you had the sweetest pumpkin carving skills in all the land, what kind of masterpiece would you create?

I’d carve a scene from the Charlie Brown Halloween special. Always a holiday favorite.

What are the 3 best Halloween candies?

Candy corn (obviously) Baby Ruth, Reese’s peanut butter cups.

Zombie, werewolf or vampire?

Do you have any great trick or treating memories of your youth?

My last year of trick or treating I went to the wealthy area of a neighboring town (the kind of neighborhood the gives out full size candy bars). I brought 4 different costumes and did the same route 4 times. Best haul ever…

How old were you when you stopped trick or treating, and was it your decision?

Age 12 was the last year. My decision.

What songs would you put on a playlist to creep people out?

I studied classical composer Henri Dutilleux’s string quartet “Ainsi La Nuit” in college. SUPER creepy stuff.

What is your favorite Halloween memory?
